JJK Group, Inc., founded by Jim J. Kapuranis, P.E. in 1992, is a New Mexico company of registered structural engineers, designers and structural drafters. By rethinking the traditional structural design process and embracing the responsibilities of builders, we are revolutionizing the way structures are designed and built. We are engineers, but also craftsmen, collaborators, and advocates of design. We excel at the extraordinary.
We have developed an office system in which every aspect of design and documentation is enhanced by computers. We have assembled a large engineering software library including our own proprietary software (Quick-Connect) to improve precision and development of our design analysis along with meeting any reasonable design schedule. We have also taken care to ensure that all drawings remain compatible and accessible through our computer-aided drafting capabilities (AutoCAD and Revit/BIM - latest versions).
Our firm is geared toward the design of projects where durability, function, performance and cost control are major elements in the design criteria and where construction documents are to be used in the selection of the contractor by the bid process.
