Offering over 30 years experience, with achievements in all facets of Structural/Civil Engineering design for buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities, construction project engineering, and contract administration. My extensive design capabilities are based on a combination of experience and schooling including courses on seismic design and code requirements, ACI concrete design, and AISC load factor design.
Specific project experience
Bridge Engineer for a 210-foot, two lane highway bridge over the Gila River. Conceptual and final design drawings were prepared to AASHTO specifications and the New Mexico State Highway and Transportation Department standards.
NMSHD Pedestrian bridge over Interstate 40 at Tomasita Street in Albuquerque, NM.
Grant County - Eighty-foot concrete highway bridge over Roberts' Creek at Lake Roberts in Grant County.
Project Manager and Structural Engineer for additon of a mezzanine to a pharmaceutical products facility.
Civil and Structural Engineer for a 3.2 million dollar 4-story laboratory building. Mr. Bennington provided Civil and Structural design from preliminary design through preperation of construction documents.
